So the Chicago International Film Festival went off, by which I mean it went on but off the big screen and in my living room. CIFF set up a surprisingly smooth and almost flawless system by which I could download a CIFF app on my Roku and dial up the films I bought at my leisure. So this year's Chicago International Film Festival lived roughly sidelong to expectations, which is to say the films I saw were slightly above Good on average, and once more there was but one (1) South Korean film which had there been more obviously would have turbocharged that average Goodness a good bit.
